Looks a great place to take a break

Nice area on the southeast side of Long Island, NY.

Now I see it wouldn't have fit with everyone being right at the water. Still nicely close to the water. Another work project?

Attractive site by the waterside. Looks pretty well-appointed from the interior shots, and nice amenities nearby. Great job.

Remarkable footage Charles.    Looks like a nice coop.  The main lodge looks expansive.

I would have done more with the waterfront. I would think that all those residents would be crowded in the summer.

That is definitely an area that they missed out on.  I don't know if they own all that adjacent land or not but if so that would open up even more possibilities.

Possibly contaminated soil.  Does that area glow in the dark?

Some of these areas are so toxic I wouldn't doubt that they glow. There are areas that snow melts on all the time and weeds won't even grow.

We had a spot like that on the base next to the Legal building.  We were told it was a fire department storage building at one time.  Nothing would grow where the building used to be and I mean nothing.  Weeds would grow up all around what used to be the outside of the building but nothing internally.  Base environmental took soil samples a couple of times and then they cordoned off the area.  It probably had to be something with the firefighting chemicals that were stored in that building.  I know they had AFFF stored there.

It was.  It truly looked like that 20' x 24' spot of ground had been nuked.  

I bet thats busy in the summer.

I'm sure it is. I have friends that live in the area, but never vacationed here.

Now I see, the building is too long to give everybody a bit of waterfront.

Unfortunately it was just a real estate shoot in the Hamptons, that I did for a real estate agent.Fun to shoot and visit though.

I've never flown commercially - may have to give it some thought later down the line.

It's not as much fun as flying for a hobby, because you aren't usually shooting what you want. you are getting what the client wants. But if you love flying enough it's a great thing to wake up for every morning.

I can imagine the restrictions being quite frustrating - especially if you feel the client is not as knowledgable but money talks I guess.
