Crashed my Avata in a pond and apparently fried the electronics. I replaced it with one from Ebay. Everything was wonderful in my original Avata. Now the view in Integra goggles is jumpy. Wasn't that way before. The video recording from the Goggles is jumpy while the video recording from the Avata itself is fine, smooth as silk.

Is there a setting I need to change in the Avata itself?

Thanks,

Hal

Hi there. Thank you for reaching out and we do apologize for the inconvenience. Kindly download the DJI Assistant 2 software on your computer and try to update/refresh the firmware of both aircraft and Goggles then check if the issue persists. If yes, please provide us with the video file showing the issue so we can check it further. To export the recorded footage from DJI Goggles Integra on your computer, please follow the steps below:

1. Power on the goggles. Connect the USB-C port of the goggles to a computer using a USB-A to USB-C cable, and follow the on-screen prompts to export the footage.

2. Remove the microSD Card from DJI Goggles Integra, and use a card reader to export photos or videos from the microSD card.

Tried several times to get the video uploaded here.  At first it wouldn't let upload a MOV file.  So here's a YouTube link.

If it were my Avata....I would try changing the props and see if that makes a difference. I don't think it's a goggle issue. I would also make sure that the gimbal 'suspension system' isn't out of whack or something stuck in there. I don't think it's a software issue.

I appreciate the input. And I might try that.  However, since the video from the Avata recording is super smooth.  No issues there.  so that makes me think it's something int he transmission to the googles or in the googles itself.

I'm going to try again to load the googles video directly.   It looks like there may be an option in the Advanced mode. But when I tried that before, there wasn't any button to actually post it.
well, got it to say video uploaded successfuly and there's a "participation" button at the bottom that may enable me to post this.  so herre goes.

Well I sure don't see anything on the previous post that indicates it posted the uploaded video.

I hope you can use the YouTube video to analyze the problem.

If you're using EIS (either RockSteady or HorizonSteady when recording, it will eliminate the jumpiness. EIS doesn't effect the goggle recording.

Thanks fansf24,

I forgot about that and wondered why a job yesterday resulted in very tilted horizon. I'll check that setting.

And also thanks for letting me know not to expect any difference in the Goggles recording.

I should clarify that this jumpiness is not only visible in the gogglesrecordng but acutally experienced in what I see while flying.

thanks again,
