Yes, It's not very attractive unless you're a developer or contractor. It' funny how the people involved in contracting like these kind of shots.

All of that scrap is heavy. There are 8 cranes that move it. I guess they aren't that precise with them.

Yeah, scrapyards aren't the tidiest of places, are they.

Impressive pano Charles.   No doubt that is a busy location.

In most industrial areas it seems the work is never done so I'm not surprised to see it busy on a Saturday as well.  

Interesting decision to take that pano. Was that a request?

Yes a strip of property was requested. It was in class B airspace so I had to stitch it together.

Here they tend to move into and convert old industrial units so that the existing building can be reused.

Makes Sense the height works for tennis courts.

Yes, I used lightroom to put together a few photos. That's what happens when you let AI do the work.

Yes and there were 35 mph gusts, so that may be part of the reason for the stitching issues.

I ordered an RTK module for mapping. That will help with the accuracy.

If you fly sideways, it will create parallax issues where the closest objects move 'faster' than the ones further away. No software can correct for this.
Not for mapping, but for stitching the panorama.
Unless there is so much overlap per image, that it can correct it slowly.
Not sure if that is why the stitching went wrong btw.

That could be, but you should be able to see this when stitching (at least in autopano giga).
