In my opinion Gyroflow is better, but if you use RockSteady then you cannot use Gyroflow.

Thats exactly what his point was,  but it's only a tiny bit better unless you want to fiddle later.

I noticed that Gyroflow does not have the DJI Avata 2 lens profile. So then how do you use it? Do you just use the DJI FPV colour profile? Same goes for the Mini 4 Pro with Wide-Angle lens because sometimes I get a curve with Wide-Angle lens.

It selects settings when you import the clips and it does a good job.

Oh, it Auto-Selects. I did not know that. I always used to click DJI FPV because that is most similair.

Oh yes, I forgot that. What do I do for Mini 4 Pro with Wide-Angle lens? (Mini 4 Pro with Wide-Angle lens would be 123° FOV.) My main goal is to correct barrel distortion.

That’s not what gyroflow is for.   Lens correction you do separately.

Premiere and FCPX are the cream of the crop.   But Davinci is good too.

Ok I'll try it. DaVinci for Mac or Windows? Just asking because I do have an old 2016 Windows computer, but I would prefer if I could use my Mac.

It's available for both so just go with your best and most convienent hardware.

The window controls will be different.  But the app controls should be the same.

Ok that's good then. But I could always use my Mac as a monitor for the Windows laptop.

It double the file sizes,  so I find three flights is 30gb or footage,  when it goes though Gyroflow you end up with 60gb.    And a couple of hours of processing/waiting.

Yes,   and most of the reviews only show the Gyroflow as a minor improvement over the new rock steady,  but what it had going for it is that you can tune the smoothness after the flight,  with rock steady its baked in and cannot be changed.

Rocksteady is digital right?
Like it analyzes the footage and stabilizes it.

Yes they are all digital as it doesnt have a 3 axis gimbal,  it works by zooming and rolling the footage.   But you also get some lens correction which is nice.

Pretty good job then. I'm struggling to getting good stabilization in post in Davinci.

it cheats as the drone records the orientation of the AC and it uses that to make the correction.

And sadly for Gyroflow you have to be in a very specific mode so you can use ultra wide on the camera etc.

Thats just the limitation they impose,  if you pick the wrong combination of view etc it wont record the stabilisation data.
