Dear all,
I have a tiny hope, after some several operations on my P4 after the upgrade to v02.00.0106.
After the upgrade, I had the following behaviours:
- instability during landing (drop suddenly by 50 cm with a stick short to the center)
- instability during landing (the maximum speed for landing with the stick at the maximum was 1cm/s)
- The go App cannot view that my dji account is connected to the app
- Limitation in height and distance (30 and 50 m).
- at 5 meters from the ground, the sensor display 30 cm
- hover not stable
So before waiting a firmware update that never come to fix the issues, so I have followed the steps below (based on all users contributions) and the most issues/behaviour are gone:
1) On the RC, proceed to a downgrade of the RC in the DJI Go APP to the minor version. Reboot the RC (switch off/ wait 30 seconds / switch on)
2) Proceed to a firmware downgrade fo the drone (see the threads to find the application and older firmwares to do that) without SD card inserted.
3) Reboot manually the drone (switch off/ wait 30 seconds / switch on)
4) Connect the drone to you PC or Mac
5) Launch Dji Assistant
6) Upgrade the firmware to v02.00.0106
7) After upgrade reboot the drone (switch off/ wait 30 seconds / switch on)
8) Proceed to a refresh of the firmware (reinstall the firmware) in the dji Assistant
9) After the upgrade refresh, switch off the P4
10) Connect the phone/tablet to the RC and Switch on, open Go app
11) Connect to the aircraft to see all parameters, during warmup, you'll see the status menu, and see that the version of MC must be updated. Update the version of the MC with this link (the upgrade function is not operational via the info menu or via the main splash menu)
12) Reboot the MC
13) Switch on the P4
14) Proceed to a pairing of the MC if needed (C1 + C2 + REC button + click on the right scroll button + push the pairing button of the drone)
15) Switch off the drone
16) Switch off the RC
17) Switch on the RC
18) Switch on the P4
19) Proceed to the IMU calibration
20) Reboot the P4
21) Proceed to compass calibration
22) Reboot the P4
23) Proceed to the VPS calibration( via DJI assistant)
24) Switch of the P4 the P4
25) Calibrate the RC
26) Switch off the RC
Done
After all the operations, my P4 is back to normal but I need to test it more on the drone fields this week-end, it's more confortable that a garden.
So for me I have not all the bad warning messages!
So, it's a hope, I'm not sure but I want to try !
