Nope, it's not.
But the box contains 6 DJI stock power-supplies and 6 DJI TB48 batteries.
My prototype

Working on : 8pack
Batteries holsters in 3D print (6pack model with aluminium frame)
Build in inverter (12/24v DC -> 220v AC)

Temperature sensor (if to high inside) will cut all power.
There is also a 110/220v. 10amp fuse build in.

If its not a problem to put all these batts in the stock case, then for sure
not a problem to keep them in this box.

Nice job on building that case!

However, my attorney is preparing to file a law suit for the mental distress and emotional anguish I've suffered as a result of not being able to get that annoying ditty you used in the video out of my mind. It's driving me nuts!

Nice flight box. I can see how everything but the battery holder insert is built. where did you get the internal frame and connectors? Was this rebuilt from another charging unit?

Good airflow between all components.
Actualy the batteries feel cooler after charging.
Also the stock power supplies feel cooler then before.
Good quality fan is a must here

I agree. I use to work on high power radio repeaters and heat is the largest enemy of electronics. If it does get a bit to warm you could also add a heat sink to the chargers and let that disapate the heat by moving the out side air over the heat sink. You should be good though as you are not dumping the fuse. Again nice job. I am impressed.

Considering the recent aviation incident, how could you make the box more Lipo fire resistant. Have you considered adding a small heat activated halon or less expensive CO2 cylinder.

Im considering some stainless steel plates attached to the inside
of the box. Like a bunker.
But then the weight would go up alot.

A fully loaded 6pack is about 8.5kilo or +/-17pounds

Maybe consider two models. The field model, and the travel model. I think there is a market considering the potential for stricter requirements.

You could also consider some light weight micarta, I think it has a very high temperature rating.

Very nice idea.  How did you attach the batter connectors to the little brackets?  Was it just with double sided tape or something better?  Since these are "intelligent batteries" and it is recommended that you remove the batteries soon after charging did you ever think of putting an inline switch (maybe cut the power feed cable to each charger) beside each battery so you can only charge X of the 6 batteries and still use this to store the ones not being used?

Dundee, use a metal box. At least if you burst a cell and catch fire it will contain the heat better. The plastic container will not only combust but will act as fuel. Just a thought. Also, 6 batteries @ 120 watts is darn near 720 watts of power! A good portion of that will be lost through the power supplies, I like what you did there and created space between the batteries, but I would double the fans on the box. And think about putting one in the lid pulling heat out the top. As well, it has been suggested that the metal box and its contents be placed on concrete in a garage away from flammable materials. While this sounds like overkill, these batteries have a tremendous amount of jam. You can weld with them. The battery catching fire on the airplane is a good example. But let's face it, how many of us sit there and watch our batteries charge? One other consideration is if you do get a fire in the box there is a big possibility that all the batteries will be destroyed. If you are talking 6- 5700 mah @ $250 Canadian that's a very smelly $1500 fire. Might be better to reduce the risk to a 3 bay or 2 even ?

Temporary with double sided tape.
In my new model the connector will be embedded in the 3D-printed holster
together with a on/off switch.

An old ammo can might hold three or four, but you might have to open up the chargers and add a cooling fan...probably not for traveling on the airlines.

A few ideas to get you started.
-------------------------------------
1) Look for a good quality strong toolbox. (Check hinges mechanism for good quality)
2) Make sure the box is big enough to ensure good airflow inside (Cooling)
3) Look for a good quality ventilator.
4) Provide an extra air inlet, in case the toolbox cover is closed during charging.
5) Put in a 10amp fuse for protection.
6) if you plan to construct a frame inside the box, go for aluminium profiles.
Note : My 6pack fully loaded weighs about 8.5/kg - 17ponds with alu frame.
7) Do not under estimate this build !

I'm working on a second model (First is a prototype)
This model will be modular build up.
Im working on a 3D print holster for the battery.
1 holster will contain the batt plug, cables integrated in the holster.
Holsters can be snapped together to form a 2/3 up to 8 gangcharger.
Stand alone temp/sensor (set at 70celcius) with small buzzer build in. (safety)
10amp fuse change to automatic fuse. (safety)
Build in timer/switch. (Set to for example 80minutes, then switch off main power to the toolbox)
Next week i post a video on this forum on the design of the 3D print holster.

good idea, but i see two Points:
-before spending the Money for 6 DJI power supply's I would go for this solution (If anyway all 6 supply's in the same box):
http://www.troybuiltmodels.com/items/HSPSEPOWERBOX050.html
This Powersupply coasts less than 6 original DJI supplys and delivers more than double of the power (1200W instead of 6x80=480W)

-The Ventilator would make much more sense if there also would be a air intake/outtake - or is it designed to leave the box open anyway during charching?

However, a great idea to Charge your batteries for a appropriate amount of Money.... Cheers
