After installing the latest GO app, Spotlight Pro is not working correctly with the Oly 45mm 1.8 lens. When tracking the camera is moving back and forth as if it is having trouble tracking. The DJI lens seems to be working fine. See video below.

Yeah...45mm lens, I'm seeing the same periodic back and forth yawing. It's pretty normal for a long lens.

It is NOT normal! I never had any issues like this until the last GO app update. I'm using the iPad Pro 10.5".

I'll give it a try but I never had to do that in the past. I have tracked objects this size many times with no issues.

Mindy, I don't think it is a firmware problem. It is the GO app problem.

I will try it later today if the weather is good. Is anyone else having this problem? Is it only me? I find it hard to believe I'm the only one. The Oly 45mm lens is one of the most popular lenses for the I2. I tried it both on my iPad 10.5 and iPhone 7 Plus. Same thing on both.

Hi Tom I myself is having the same problem that your experiencing.

The I2 also disconnects 700 ft away from me and performs an RTH. This does not happen on the DJI 15mm lens only with the Oly 45mm. I calibrated the lens, IMU and compass and also everything checks out great on Air Data, no crashes at all with latest firmware etc.

Other then that love the I2 and the lens as this combo is my main workhorse on a daily basis so please look into this.

Interesting. I'm not having the disconnection problem that you are having. I did at one time have disconnection issues between the iPad and controller but I think I just had a bad cable.

Well, this is the first time I had any problems with updates so, I don't agree with your statement. If you are so disappointed with your system then why don't you just sell it and move on to something better? Thats if you can find something better, which is doubtful.

Any update on this issue? My 45mm Oly lens is pretty much useless right now. I'm sure it is a software issue because others are having the same problem.

Did a job site yesterday and with spotlight pro on, the Oly 45 mm was doing the same thing panning left to right while tracking,,, not much but still noticeable. I then switched to the DJI 15 mm and spotlight pro worked great no panning left to right and really smooth.

I also flew multiple batteries with the 45 mm some with spotlight pro on and manual flying and I noticed when I hover the camera will pan left to right without any gimbal input from me.

DJI please look into this for the next update.

All I get is a spinning wheel that never stops when I try to use the Data Upload when using the Assistant app on my mac.

Yes, I noticed the same thing but, find that both the 45mm and the DJI lens do it. Yesterday when I was trying to download the data with the I2 on, over a period of about 15 minutes the gimbal was turned almost 45 degrees. Never had any of these problems before the last few app updates. I have tried gimbal calibration and no difference. IMU calibration maybe?

For this, never use the spotlight function from DJI, use the focus function from the Autoflight logic app, it works great now with the Inspire 2, and...... it's crazy spot-on whit the focus function.

PS: you can also fly a lot faster when using the focus function, the spotlight function from DJI is way to slow when you fly i little faster.i know, it does not work for moving objects, bud when your subject is a building, than thats the way to go.
