Hi, Just wondering of anyone knows if the new E800 motors are compatible with the DJI Inspire? If it is compatible & they do work, would I be voiding my warranty if I were to install them myself?

Any help would be much ppreciated.

The mounting system is different other than that they are the same motor.

No, I have confirmed through multiple suppliers that sell the E800 motors that they do not have the same mounting legs as the stock Inspire motors do.  Even if you see them online as a direct replacement for the Inspire, I'd personally inquire about how these "replacements" mount to the aircraft.  Came across this each time I've asked and the response is the same "they won't work".  Well then why in the hell are you selling them as replacements?  

from what I understand the inspire as of April 1st are bringing the E 800 motors

And some 900s will be coming out that will be compatible with the inspire.
