Question on what is happening,
I switched to NAZA mode and love it! I wish I had done it sooner. I love the way it can drift with the breeze or I can give it a shove when filming. It also seems to fly much smoother. I calibrated everything at the same time I switched. I set the bottom switch position (Switch 2) to be failsafe.
I notice now intermittently the camera tilt (by wheel on controller) is wonky at the top and bottom of travel. It will jerk up and down. Also when taking pictures or video, the display goes black after taking a picture. It still takes pictures during this time (or video) and you can make any and all adjustments, but the camera display just has a spinning icon. I have to close the app and kill it (iPhone 6) and re-launch. Then it is okay for a while. This does not effect the flying at all.
Everything else is great. Any thoughts?

Do the calibration to the letter as posted below.  As far as your camera going black, try setting the display to a lower setting on the app.

Here is the calibration.  It will get rid of the jerkiness of the camera and make it smooth and speed variable with the amount of pressure you apply to the wheel.

Gerry, that worked perfect on the gimbal. I can't go outside and try it as it is raining and dark, but works well inside! It goes up and dow very smoothly and it actually goes up farther than it used to too!

I wonder if you can share your thoughts on the "Upgrade Range Extender" setting in settings. I see if you select it it asks if you want to "Upgrade your range extender to use a mobile data network while connecting to your Phantom". Is that stored in app and do you have to select it each time? Your thoughts and do you do this?

The upgrade extender will only let you connect to get maps I believe and it will only work when you are flying waypoints.  I've never flown waypoints so I'm not that familiar with it.  I have maps cashed on my tablet.

Well this is new twist.  The P2 was design to create a stable filming platform.  Can you show us some samples of you video that you shot and how the shove made it better?  Thanks

I got lucky on the clouds for sure.

Shove as in when its hovering I can get really close to something and just give it a push (when atti is selected) and it glides away.
