Is this official that the return policy of 7 days will be from the time of apple app release? Otherwise I have no choice but to requesta refund as I can not test it. The android app update is still not in the app store and I will not download it from dji directly because my phone says it could harm my phone. I have requested to return and been given the run around so far. Sorry but this is a large investment for me and it must be returnable if i can not test within the 7 day return period. Can we get an official announcement about this 7 day policy?
why don't you answer? Can we return and get a refund for the drone that was bought and could not be tested due to unavailability of the necessary app to fly it during the return policy window of 7 days.
This is exactly my concern. DJI will not answer questions of concern, yet have the courage to go ahead and delete posts in the forum that are not consistent with promoting or saying something nice about the product.
I bet this is going to get ignored by DJI employees as well...

I am sorry that my response is not acceptable. The CS rep responded, however, I have forwarded your request to DJI HQ for a definitive statement. I will post here when it is received. Note that it is Saturday in China. Yes I am a DJI employee but I do not set policy. We will wait for China's response together.
I'd like to ask if folks that have recieved their phantoms get a discount on products as a gesture of thanks for waiting to use their products. A battery discount or other product accessory would be nice. Please forward that to HQ
My Phantom 3 is DOA... after 3 calls to tech support (during USA office hours)... still nothing. They were nice, but obviously knew very little helpful info. i was pissed about the IOS app (and firmware) delay... but, now I'm totally MAD.
Phantom 3 24/7 Tech-Support is a lie... sending an email and waiting for a response is not 24/7 Tech-Support. DJI is lying and misleading customers. I'm returning it as soon as I can contact a real person in the USA.
