I was able to repair the Inspire that was broken in two places completely successfully please see the above link!

My Inspire one was still under warranty I sent an email to LA and China customer services two weeks ago!! NO REPLY!!!

i decided to repair myself because i did not want to pay $400 US for shipping back and forth and also possibly pay for repair and parts by DJI!!

Now i have two Inspire -1's both functioning 100%

This was a brilliant article and I thank you for the time you have spent documenting your endeavours. Its really helpful for the community to understand just how tricky it is to disassemble the Inspire. Its a shame they really haven't put the effort into designing the parts to be more swappable. But, I guess this generates the repair revenue.
