Hello Fellow Pilots

I just wanted to share that yesterday I bought a new TB48 Battery, fully charged it before using it, flew with it until 35% and then this morning when I try to charge it the new battery is not waking up.  It is dead, no light turn on even if I press the buttom for 1minute, and when I plug it to the charger is not doing anything.
Anyone knows what could of happened??

Before you take it apart ( I wouldn´t do that with a brand new battery any ways) ...

Connect it to the charger and push the power button while connected and see if it starts ... some reports of this working on you tube...

Connect it to the charger and wait for at least 10 min and see if it starts loading ... according to DJI staff this might work ...

Put the battery in the inspire and see if it will turn on ... some one on this forum stated that this worked for him ...

I took it apart and plug it back after 60min, now is back to normal. I did it because I didn't want to send it for a 3month vacation to DJI, you know how long they take to repair things

I have just had the same experience.  New battery, one flight and then dead. None of the suggested easy  fixes work although I have not tried taking it apart.

Left it for an hour and it did not work on both of my bricked batteries... What could I be doing wrong here?

Same here set for an hour still or led.
Any other fixes out there...probably will have to send in to DJI.
Just sent my controller in and received back in 3 weeks.

Turns out mine were not bricked in the end.  It was awhile ago but as I recall it was an issue with the Inspire itself... The inspire had to be replaced in the end.   The batteries when updated through a properly functioning inspire came back to life and have had no problems since.

I bought four batteries, 2 TB 47 and two TB48s in December, I had to shelve them until now as I was away on business, now I'm ready to set up the inspire 1 pro and both TB48 and one TB47 are dead, reading the forums think the problem is way bigger. These batteries have never been used, and fried! I spent 5500.00 for everything and am very disappointed

I have an Inspire 1 that is about 18 months old .. haven't flown it in probably 8 months, getting more familiar w. my Phantom 3 AV ... Yesterday when I checked, three of the four batteries were 'dead' .. no lights when pressed, or held for 5 sec .. one had 1.5 lights, and came right back.  I took of the battery tops, disconnected the small wires connector and let them sit over night ... then plugged them into the charger .. still 'dead after 30 min.!  I thought all this complicated, expensive, circuitry in the batteries was to protect them against over-discharge ... which destroys lithium batteries.  So now I have $600 worth of paperweights.  Doubt DJI will do anything.  Any other suggestions?
