I have just got a Phantom 2 vision plus with V2 controller but can't seem to work out how to connect the trainer port to Heli-x simulator on my Widows 7 PC. Any help much appreciated.

did you get this to work?

Is this the only software to use, or does DJI have their own?

I already have the Heli-x simulator which has the Phantom as a choice, I have the connection lead from trainer port to USB PMM  connection on my PC but Heli-X doesn't see it. I am guessing that the trainer port on the Phantom controller is not communicating with the PC.

It works ok with Phoenix 5 RC  - but would welcome some help with setup as it goes round in circles and crashes - its far easier in the real !

Got the new controller and downloaded Heli-5. But where do I get the trainer port to USB cord? What the heck does it look like? Mini Jack to USB?

After getting the new controller, do you have to do any thing special to get it to work with the P2V+ ?

What kind of cable are you using?

If not, what simulation software is compatible with the new trainer port. So far I found none :-(

i think you need lightbridge for that....

if anyone has a tip how to use this "trainerport"  i would be interested....

Yes we use PhoenixRC 5 and it works!
I bought it with cable and softdog

Standard cable provided with the Phoenix RC simulator works fine with DJI remote control. I use the Phoenix Phantom v1 model, which can be downloaded. Flying feels like flying the Phantom in manual mode. Very sensitive to the controls. Good to practice.
