Be careful about updating the P330CB Firmware to 1.0.2.8, it will block you from using the old 1.6.0.0 firmware lipos.
Again DJI releasing firmware updates without even test them with a new and old lipo version, its a shame.

Actually it was the latest battery update (2.6.0.0) that did that (see screen capture below)

As far as the P330 CB update I didn't have much of a choice!  As soon as I opened the vision assistant it downloaded and installed the update.  So far I haven't had any problems but I am bothered that it didn't give me a chance to decide on my own, especially given the problems they've had with some of the updates of late.

Yup, mine updated too, but now i only have one lipo that works, all the other 3 are older with 1.6.0.0 firmware.

Another stupid update by DJI and we didnt had a choice to cancel.

the old ones still work and DJI made a mistake when they did not prevent the old batteries from beeing updated but now they realized the mistake and now the assistant software prevent you from updating old batteries.

You guys are confusing, everything was working 2 hours ago before the P330CB update from 1.0.2.7 to 1.0.2.8.

So im sure its that update, was the only one made...

Any news on this issue? DJI needs to fix this asap...:@

Guys, pls use latest 3.6 Assistant in a first place. I have already installed pcb 1.0.2.8 and all batteries are working fine, old, new and third party.

are you sure that it is the new FW, are the two golden pins ok inside your phantom? Maybe clean them with alcohol. Everything i did was cleaning them and as usual a IMU calibration and remote calibration after the update.

How can this even get released? Was there no testing done at all perhaps?

The only explanation is that...

now it shows  v1.0.2.7 again on the web page.

ghostmaster i think it's just you. I think 1.0.2.8 was ok... Now they seem to have pulled it. Everyone else seems to say it worked ok with all batteries.

I have let it downgrade back to 1.0.2.7 , there must have been some reason that Dji pulled the 1.0.2.8

Wrong, there was problems, thats why DJI rolled back to 1.0.2.7...

the 1.0.1.8 worked well for me and i have new and the oldest version of the smart batterie

Have issues regarding motors not starting, 5 RED flashes when I attempt to start motors, hold CSC position with sticks, that is when I get this flashing Attached is screen shot of my software


GPS is attached and cannot find issue with the GPS electronically. (Meaning the GPS antenna isn't cracked and it appears to be intact.
It is plugged in and compass has been calibrated at a distance from house or any metallic objects.

Also I downloaded the RC assistant software and it found a update but am afraid it is wrong update for my TX , my TX is older version with white plastic slider on the main REAR of controller, NO ROLLER and only 1 LIGHT on FRONT of TX. It lite up red before, now it lights up solid green and when powering TX it makes 3 pings/beeps.

I have this screen shot also, I have attempted everything I have access to. Am exhausted with calibrating, basic and advanced, attempting to calibrate compass, installed NEW compass. It was flying fine in atti mode but no compass, it hovered around like a dream. I order NEW compass because solder came loose on old one, anyway it needed NEW compass. So now nothing ... It has been apart with top casing off for 10 days and nothing, only flew it 2 or 3 times hovering around.

Also on screen in certain places in NAZA  mode it shows in RED letters, "GPS needed" ?? GPS is installed . Plugged in ?

Updated firmware in battery and in TX  THIS is insane. There shouldn't be firmware or assistant software which doesn't know which device it is loading too. Need better information and education about updating firmware to these aircraft .. this is very poor IMO .. This battery is useless, with only one battery this aircraft is useless .. PIECE of crap .. Better buying a 39.95 POS micro at this point .. If you get my meaning ,, if you want to fly a model.

PLEASE HELP ... AM exhausted ... Need a NEW direction !!

siweckipawel  You mentioned 3rd party batteries. Have you had any issues with them?
