I have just purchased a Phantom 4 Pro, and whilst my main application will be to get pictures of our own boat whilst at anchor and underway, I know if someone else offered me footage of my sailing boat underway and I didn't have a drone, I'd be very interested in the footage and grateful to see them (it is very rare to get photos of you sailing your own boat, as it's usually you sailing it!!). There are boats that have set precedent in this (Bekens of Cowes for instance is a business taking photos of peoples boats racing without their permission, and selling them back to them).

If I was to anchor my boat on the river and take shots of other boats and offer folk the ability to buy these photos and footage (such as the local racing fleet), what would be involved from a licensing and legislative perspective? The drone would not need to get within 50 meters of anyone to take shots, and I would not be flying over anyone. I'd only fly in light wind, and only once I had become a proficient pilot. I would be taking footage of a boat without someone's permission (in the same way Beken of Cowes do - I personally purchased some wonderful photos they took of my late fathers boat that were taken without permission).

Apologies if this has been asked before, I did do a search and found this: https://forum.dji.com/thread-277895-1-1.html that related to the rules pre 2020. From the below article, it appears I don't need any additional licensing. I have my operators and flyers license already from the CAA.

Does anyone else operate in this way? Thanks for your response. First ever "drone" post!
