ND Filters for the DJI Mini 4 Pro - do you need ND Filters ? In this video I test and review them - the video is quiet long as it compares each color mode normal, HLG and D LOG M but it is time stamped if you are only interested in a specfic color mode !

Wow, very thorough review Hieth.    I use ND filters on all my DJI drones because they are well made of quality material, durable and just fit extremely well.  I just pre-ordered a Freewell VND filter for my Air 3 from B&H PhotoVideo online store.  I know I will have to still land to change the filter setting but much easier than having to take off a filter and then put on another filter while in the field and in the meantime not fumbling around and losing one of the filters.

By the way, excellent tips at the end of your video.

Thanks glad you found it useful - the VND filter is a good shout to that is what I use on my cameras so I may invest in one but find that tip useful if you are half way though a shot and then the cloud cover the sun or the sun pops out from behind a cloud - take care cheers Hieth

Sorry you feel that way many people have found it useful to actually see the footage and felt that it was a good way of showing if they are any good or not rather that someone just saying they are good only to find out they are rubbish. Also you only have to ask if they are good and I will always answer honestly - and my answer is personally I think you do need ND Filters to get natural motion blur in your videos. However if that is not something you are worried about or you only take photos then no you don't need them. As for the Freewell ones I think they are the best value for money, there are cheaper ones which I find have a weird color shift and not as good quality, there are also more expensive ones like the Polar Pro ones which I have owned as well and the Freewell ones come out the best - hope this helps cheers Hieth

The only way to fix this problem would be if DJI started to charge  people for posting their own Click Bait YT video here... At the moment  it is free and that's why they are here every second day with their  reviews...

Reviews... Well, they are not really reviews, but more  of a personal opinion about a product they bought... But being honest  about something you bought or use, doesn't really make you an expert on  the subject...

They really honestly care about us doing the right  purchase, and they have no secondary reasons whatsoever for posting  their video here...

They absolutely do have a secondary reason!
It drives traffic to their channel which equates to revenue!

Indeed, give the roo a timeout & explain to us what it means to review a product?  Go ahead Toot.  We'll wait...

That's so sweet...

Does this actually ever worked for you?  I don't really think it was that good to be honest...

How many times before have you tried?

Thousands of people enjoy, learn, & subscribe to YouTube channels.  Good advice is if you don't like the content, don't watch.  If the channel offends thee, change it & move on.  We don't need the snide "Just tell us!" comment every time someone posts a video link.  You are acting like the YouTube equivalent of a Drone Police, only worse because posting a video link isn't breaking any rules.

Advertise your YouTube content somewhere else then smarty.

Indeed, a 2000 word essay would be much more effective in conveying the effects of an ND filter rather than an actual video where one can see the effect in action or compare the results side-by-side.

And what's up with all these girlie mags & porn videos when someone could just as easily tell us how hot the babes are or describe to us with words how scintillating are the skills of the ladies in dealing with an onslaught of menacing one-eyed vipers?  Geesh just tell us!

LOL

I have tested the Ones from DJI, Skyreat and Polar pro and these are the best ones in relation to price and color shift - the skyreat ones are not as good quality and have a magenta shift, the DJI ones are similar to the Freewell ones but dont have a combined ND/CPL and the polar pro are the same quality and image but more expensive.

You have played this card before, and yet there is no mentioning of your "charity donations" anywhere either on Youtube or your own webpage... Why is that?

I get it, you are a good Samaritan, but here is the thing... That you like it or not I smell bullsh1t.

As I mentioned to you before, Youtube does offer a better way of using your channel for collecting money for charity, but you reckon it is too hard or complicate... Again, bullsh1t!

When people collect money for charity, normally it is clearly advertised, or at least mentioned somewhere with data that can be somehow trace down from the source to the recipient...

Coming here with your video and wanting people to believe that there is no reason other than you want to help, it is a bit like trying to reinvent the wheel...

I however, do believe that this is now your hobby...

I've only got one Freewell so far, but it is definitely not my last
When I get my Pocket 3, I'll probably get the Freewell set for that one.
And I'm also considering an ND2000 filter for my Mini 3 Pro from Freewell.

Cool I have never tried long exposure photography with a camera or drone camera but want to giv e it a go so the nd 2000 should be good for that

I have the ND1000 for the Pocket 2 and it really transforms hyperlapses.
2000 would be even better for daytime situations

Actually dude he is right. Guys like you just troll the internet looking for clicks for your videos and fill up the world with garbage. It becomes so difficult to find real good advice that isn't like your crap trying to sell stuff. Stay off the DJI comment boards. Talking about you Heith. Stay of the DJI boards with your ads

Actually Flyboy he isn't right  and I don't troll the internet at all I don't have time for that - I do it for fun and to try and help people I don't make any money myself as I don't need it being lucky enough to earn a good salary and own our own florist business - I couldn't care less if I get one click or 1,000,000 click but it does help the Fire Fighters Charity where any funds go to and having raised over £10,000 form them myself they are very grateful as am I for when then helped me when I suffered an injury which resulted in breaking my neck and back to get me back on the run as a firefighter - feel free to check out the latest charity event we did for them i'll link it below for you!
Also you only have to look at all the comments on here and the YouTube/Instagram of how I have helped people I have nothing to sell and as long as I help one person then that makes me happy - but you are more than welcome to have your opinion and sorry I will still publish stuff on here to help people have a great day, take care and above all keep smiling - cheers Hieth

Actually, until you refuse to use a "proper Charity" channel as suggested to you before, you can try as hard as you want, but it won't change the end result...

The link you provided in your comment https://www.justgiving.com/team/teamhiethdanpaul is a step in the right direction and a good one, but it has still nothing to do with either your website and/or your youtube channel...

You can also see that most donations are only a few months old, where you were advertising collecting money from the word go!?!?? If you just started this New Found Raiser because you felt guilty about your previous conduct, that's a good thing.

People are not blind and can see and read between the lines...

As far as my comment that you quoted, that was actually directed at Dirty Bird, it was in reply to one of his "comments". Now that is all in the past and I believe we have both settled our differences... I have no qualm with Dirty Bird, and he has been very helpful to this community (while making no profits)...

Now, if telling people that your YouTube Channel and your website are there just to collect donations, helps you sleep at nights, good for ya. It only took you 8 months to reply to the wrong post, so who knows what's really going on...

I guess what I'm saying is that you don't come across as a Mother Teresa!!!

If you were as young as I'm, you  would have realised by now that there are always two and half sides to the story... Yours.. Ours.. and the truth somewhere in the middle!

"I couldn't care less if I get one click or 1,000,000 clicks"
That was priceless... I nearly fell off the chair...

Are you familiar with Reverse Psychology?? I think you are. You are doing it all the times...

Good luck with your click-bait YouTube channel and a sincere good luck for your NEW Charity Found Raiser. Better late than never...
