Can anyone decipher it and tell me if a part needs to be replaced or which firmware I should try or what else to try.

Update fails after about 15 minutes

I have done reformat card in rc and computer
tried different cards
redownloded from DJI
tried turning on before puttin in SD card,
have tried a brand new camera/gimbal replacement
have pulled batt for 20 minutes and tried again, full battery always

Issue is i get no video on the app, zero, looks like it might fly other then that but dont want to try, app says the drone is still on 1.1.9+

Any ideas?  Thanks.

Aloha info,

     You may be off on the wrong foot.  I seem to recall that that log gets erased in the new upgrade.  That said, you have a real problem with,

"tried turning on before puttin in SD card, "

That can screw things up right there.  The manual says to not do that specifically.  This whole process can be completed without turning on the P3.

     Look at your work space.  Are you around large metal objects or are even small metal objects, especially any magnetic metal objects, near any of your equipment?  Is there any operating electronic device nearby?  These can all interfere with your update.

     The good news is that you are getting this far.  Another very important part of the process is to be sure that you restart (reboot) after each install of an app or update.  The reboot allows the three parts of the puzzle to link in the new configuration.  Without the reboot, it beats its head against the non-communicating brick wall because it has not been allowed to re-link.  Look at the log, those are mostly failures to communicate.

     I suggest you find a SD card that was not inserted when the P3 was on (and hope for the best).  
Then keep the P3 off until the RC has indicated it installed the the latest update.  That will be when the beeping that goes along with the blue light on the RC changes the beep pattern.  When the beep pattern changes turn off the RC and close the DJI Go app on your device.  Then turn on the RC again after 30 seconds and see if the DJI Go app loads (because it is linked to the device through the Micro USB cable).  If not, load the app manually (and make a mental note to enable it to load automatically when the RC is turned on).  When you see the "connect to camera" instruction, turn on the P3 and let it go through its initialization.  By this time the Flight Check page should be on top of the flight screen.  Check it for any errors or problems.  If it says you need to update the RC, shut off the P3 and then reboot the RC again.  When the Flight Check screen comes up again (check the "Up-to-Date" status), close the Flight Check screen and open the flight options pages - the icon in the upper right corner of the flight screen.  The About page is accessed through the bottom line that has About written on it.  This will tell you what your update numbers are and if they are really not up to date.  It can also tell you where your problem is.  Good Luck!

The RC updates fine, the uav will not update, tried over 20 times before trying having it on while inserting the card, mo metal, no interference. looking for someone who can read that log i posted to tell me at what point it failing.  I have updated over 80 aircraft without issue.

about page shows 1.1.9+  as stated above, OSD info come through like link and battery, no video shows through the app.  and each update fails on version checking 6 every time. constant sound and constant red light on gimbal

Aloha info,

     Have you tried updating the FW to Firmware v1.2.6 using the card?  Then update to Firmware v1.3.20 the same way.  The P3 on-board computer is very simple and may not be able to jump FW versions.  That is what the Download page says to do - get up to 1.3.20.  They just do not tell you to do it in steps.  As you do the steps remember to upgrade the RC and the P3.  This step by step process is less painful than the red marks on your scalp where your hair used to be.  And you do have our sympathy as well as our help.  After that, the DJI Go app may be able to update RC and the P3 without the card.  If not, there is another whole page of instructions for that problem.
