The case really look great, and the size compared to the umbrella in the trunk is pretty amazing (small !) when you think of all it can contain !
Our wait is not vain ;-)
And DJI have the best experience in making drones in volume. I really rather wait than receive an Inspire 1 with problems.
So many parts / things can go wrong... :
- Retracting train problems
- TX / RX signal problems
- Software (app crashes, freezes, causing crash of the I1 ?)
- battery problems
- quality of video
- vibrations
- durability
- spare replacements
- ...
This is huge, and at that price i expect a durable product.
For me like for most of you i suppose, this is quite some money.
We all crached a copter i guess. I don't want to crash this one soon !
It seems that DJI is taking the right decisions : who would like to receive a corrupted V1 ?
As soon as we receive it, hopefully we will all forget this wait :-)
And, in fact, i have to admin that i love all the wait / reading here.

PS : My dealer assured me 2 days ago that their 1st lot of 40 inspire were on delivery to them, and that they expected to deliver them as soon as next week. They told me that for those who ordered outside this contingent of 40 starting approx 2 weeks ago), they would receive them around 15 January, with this date to be confirmed later. I am supposed to be in the initial 40 (2 TX version). I will keep you posted if i have any delivery info (i asked to come myself to take delivery (and advices !) to the shop, North of Paris, France).
