I have a P3S that keeps prompting me to do the firmware upgrade to v1.3.0050 (http://dl.djicdn.com/downloads/p ... _Notes_en_12.24.pdf). After seeing a number of users with serious issues from the upgrade (http://forum.dji.com/thread-37859-1-1.html and http://forum.dji.com/thread-37858-1-1.html), I'm hesitant to do so. Has anyone had success with it? It's been out for a few weeks now so I'm hoping that the majority of P3S users have installed it and are back to flying successfully. Does DJI have a history of rolling out newer/corrected versions that would be worth waiting on? Any advice would be much appreciated...
I would hold off. Been a lot of complaints lately. Keep the firmware you have now and once a new one comes out (that actually benefits the P3S) then update. If it aint broke don't fix it.
Probably a safe bet... Looks like it's primarily focused on flying in cold conditions. It rarely gets below freezing here during the day, so it's likely not worth it.
