Yes, don't worry! The next Osmo firmware is specially for the adaptor, you would be able to upgrade the X5 firmware by mounting on the Osmo with the new Osmo firmware.

Well, nice that its finally out.. But when looking at it, I can't help to wonder why this took so long, Its looks quite simple in its design...
I was expecting that there would be a discount for those that ordered / paid for the X5/osmo in 2015... but I guess that is pushing it.
