Starting the season and upgraded software on my Phantom 2 Vision to 3.14, P330CB to 1.0.2.10.  When that was done I had a message to upgrade the wifi extender on my iPhone 6 iOS 9.3.2.  I have not been able to connect to the wifi since.  I have seen many threads concerning android and no solutions.  Is there a solution to this problem?

What is the range extender LED doing. Have you tried to relink the WiFi?
It does take a minute or so for it all to refresh.

The power light solid.  After flashing 30 seconds or so the system light will stay lit. After a few seconds. It starts flashing again.  I have tried many times to re link the wifi with the phone. It would at fist say it was unavailable.  Now it does not even show in the wifi list

Do you keep cellular data active on your phone? How long do you let the unit sit before reattempting to reset the WiFi Range Extender? If you see the Phantom WiFi in your WiFi History, are you able to forget it? Have you ensured that the Range Extender is fully charged? Do you hold the reset button until the System light comes off, then let the light come back on again?

I'm having the same / similar issue;
Here’s the chronology on my issues:

My DJI Phantom Vision 2 SSID is Phantom_6080c2.
Phantom, range extender and Vision app were connected and working properly
Range extender went into upgrade mode
Afterwards, there was a SSID in my wifi selection list for my iPhone named Phantom_0388a3
If I connect to 6080c2, the Vision app shows it connected, but my iPhone shows me connected to my cell service provider (not wifi); also having the issue if I switch to airplane mode
If I connect to 0388a3, the iPhone shows me connected to wifi
In both cases the Vision app shows me connected to either 6080c2 or 0388a3
in both cases, when I select Camera, the app says Phantom failed to connect
I’ve tried binding the camera using bot 6080c2 and 0388a3 for MAC addresses…nothing works…still get Phantom failed to connectIf I'm connected to 6080c2, the bind camera selection works; if connected to 0388a3 when I try to bind camera I get a message on the app that it is unable to find wifi range extender.

I've tried every combination of wiwfi SSID, binding, etc...nothing works.
This is why I avoid upgrades of firmware and software if everything is working as it should.
I expect many others are having the same problems.

I am not going to reset or bind from everything I have read it doesn't work.  The phantom does not even show up in my wifi choices any more so hard to get beyond that point.       VERY UPSET

I understand that you're frustrated. If you are not willing to attempt the basic troubleshooting steps to attempt to resolve the issue, we unfortunately do not know how to assist you. Do you have any advice, procedures to follow to resolve this?  I get 2 wifi SSID's...the original 6080c2 and a new one that showed up after the wifi extender upgrade...0388a3.
When I connect to 6080, the bind camera option functions, but does not solve the problem.
When I connect to 0388, the bind camera option returns "unable to find wifi extender".
Is there a way to reset the extrender to erase the upgrade?

Any ideas?

I do have same kind of issue, after extender upgrade, cannot connect Phantom, I tried reset  extender and re-bind the camera, but nothing help.

App version is 1.0.58(2068) , right now every time I even cannot connect Phantom  WIFI , after reset extender, I can connect it's WIFI but click camera icon, I cannot get connect camera, and then WIFI get lost, cannot connect WIFI anymore have to reset  extender again.

Need Help!

What rev of the DJI Vision app are you using?  There's a problem that many users are having after this app, both IOS and Android was ver 1.0.56.    This version sent a firmware upgrade to the range extender which breaks the binding between the RE and the camera.  They released ver 1.0.58, then 1.0.60, and the problem still exists.   There are many angry Phantom 2 owners out there.  There is still no fix.

Sure there is....
upgrade to latest Vision app, see if it works,
after you determine it does not solve your problem, call DJI tech support,
get RMA and hope you do not have to go through hoops or pay to get the RE replaced
