In order to obtain more "realism", you should add haze on the inserted animals, so that they appear to be at the right distance. Atmospheric haze is key to the perceived distance.
Good fun anyway

Good stuff but you need to blur the images a little more. They stick out too much as 3D. You shot in perfect stuff to grit it up to make it look good easily.  You add some grain, maybe some particle effects like from Paricular (fog) and dirty it up and you could make those 3D objects look photo-real.

Here is a 3D move I did using the P4 for tracking the move and then added literally almost 100 layers of matte painted reality (photos painted in) the water fall is actually salt being poured. This is from a segment I did on Last Man Standing, the show I am VFX sup on. This was the opening shot of the premiere episode  in season 5. This was all done with tracking in AE, a little 3D work in C4d and and the move was a rocky Colorado plan that was tracked but shot completely on my P4. (maybe P3 actually).

This was done in a couple days. The dialed up render looks better:

Just some VFX advice.  Don't put the text over the thing you are tracking unless there is a reason for it.  It looks cool and all but what I mean is offset the track of the camera from the duck, to literally anywhere else so it just looks like Drone Time or whatever it says is actually moving with the camera and not tethered to the duck.  Just a thought for you. Also, you would be wise to blur up and what we call "dirty up" the 3D element in the video. They look way to obviously 3d.  You want to make them look as a photo-real as possible and to do that you need to use things like grain, lens blur, etc.

Great stuff! Thanks for sharing.
