Escaped China during the Chinese New Year and spent some days in an island where I had already been previously, but with time with my drone ...
Lots of usual fun (diving, relaxing, deconnecting from the world) but at the same time enjoyed flying my drone above this little paradise ...
Maybe some will recognize it, but the soundtrack comes from jonscott last video "Canyons of Ice" which really impressed me so I decided to use it on this project, since I was picturing it so well with the pictures I brought back with me ...
Any comments or tips are more than welcome ...
Just a shame clouds were invited to the party during my flights but still doesn't take the magic of the place ...

That was really cool. I really like your editing. I think maybe the clouds made it a little more interesting even if they dampen the colors.
Thanks a lot ...
Indeed, the clouds and the fact that the scenes were shot at different moments of the day (every not on the same day) made it a little more challenging to assemble everything all together and make the transition from one scene to another less "shocking" ...
Reacting to your comment : of course, this forum is about drones, but what I started to realize, is that I don't come to it only for the drone news, etc , but also to get a dose of travel and discovery of the world with a different perspective ...
Starting to have this daily need to come on it in order to travel for a couple of minutes or more ...
I just got some ND filters 4, 8 and 16 this week ...
Shame I didn't have them when I was there ... Some footage (not included in this video) were clearly overexposed since the sky was clear, sun high and absolutely no clouds ... But still difficult to color synchronize them smoothly with other shots ...

We usually post films or pictures from our drones but this time, my wife had a good idea to take photos during my drone session in Cubadak ...

Mattcoq :
Your wife has taken some great shots, especially the one with you kneeling with your eager group of spectators. She pushed the lighting just right.
Yes, at first, even if I knew they were here, I didn't see exactly their faces when watching the live feedback ...
Really genuine happiness from them, they are living in a village with no electricity, still smiling, fun and keeping busy without all the things we have in our busy lives ...

Lovely to see those kids enthralled by your drone. Sometimes where I live the kids are playing in the track and field where I fly from and I always take their pictures for them.
You should bring your drone to Jamcams place from 08 April ( when I plan on going ) and we could do some party droning lol.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. Looks like you can just snorkel out to dive the reef ala House Reef from CDC at your place Jamcam.
That was indeed the daily routine when getting up
Walking to the water 10 meters away and swimming while saying hello to the coral and fishes
