Help. Anyone has this loud glitch noise when using Olympus M.ZUIKO Digital ED 45mm F1.8?

The gimbal seems to be mal-functioning after power up.


After I changed back to the stock lens, the issue is gone.


Also this lens doesn't seem to focus at all.


Any help is much appreciated.

You probably have putting so much load on the gimbal. Have you put a balance ring to balance the camera probably.

Thank you DTK. I put a UV filter on it. It greatly reduces the noise but there is still some. I will get a lens hood and see if the noise can be totally removed.
