P4 lost signal during mission and never reconnected or RTH. Logs uploaded on Airdata stop at 3pm and this happened at 5pm. Possible solutions in location drone?

Go in the app then find my drone

Forest area. Difficult to access. Logs didn't help. No last recorded location.

To expand on that tip, a little:

Launch the App to the white screen wi th picture of the drone and the ENTER DEVICE on bottom right. At the top right of the screen there are three short horizontal black bars.click on thos and a dropdown menu appears. The bottom option is FIND MY DRONE. Click that and you should get a may showing the location of the drone and the time since it was recorded at that position.

No last recorded location? Thats impossible unless its never once has gps.

Funny that I can't find that. Is it on the drone deploy app?

Never flew without GPS. It's the logs that end before that flight.

This is only relevant if you're flying with DJI GO. The op stated that he's using DroneDeploy.

No - a new DJI GO feature. That poster doesn't realise you're using DroneDeploy.

Nope, its on the start page in the go app. Hit the pull down at the top right and goto find my drone.

Call your insurance company and file a claim....

No it's in the DJI Go 4 App - the one recommended for Phantom P4 standard.  Apart from a few glitches with my Galaxy S2 to start with - it now works fine. I keep Wifi OFF and airplane mode ON so no worries about dodgy software and firmware "updates"

That wasn't until AFTER I'd posted the info.....

well walmart sells the P3 standard for about 399 or so.  That could be a cheap search and rescue vessle.  Been there buddy. I can relate.zTurns out it was 30 feet from my last gps coordinate. Good luck.

I'd report if I ever do find it. Going back with another P4 to search

And it was finally found by  hunter in the forest last week. shocking
