Hi all, new Mavic pilot here. Question about gesture mode.
Is it just me or does the gesture mode seem more intuative on the Spark than the Mavic. Watching some of these Spark videos in Gesture mode as really impressed me. I haven't been able to achieve the same palm / hand control with my Mavic.

I'm really not joking. Watching the spark vids it like you're controlling the Spark with the force...but my Mavic doesn't seem to act the same.

Mavic doesn't have the features for gesture control and it won't be getting them until maybe Mavic 2 , gesture control in the spark works with 3D face recognition, which would require hardware.

There are other features camera ones that you might see on the Mavic sometime in the future dronie, helix and qoickshot.

I think the gesture features will also be a bit of a risk with Mavic for the simple reason you need to be within .7 meter to get face recognition and if you get to close to the Mavic you just might get your nose cut off.

Ahh okay. I didn't realize the Mavic doesn't have face recognition.

please tell us you didn't spend 5hrs staring at it hovering and waving your hand left & right

but at least you know now! the spark has some good reviews but the mavic is a different beast, happy flying & enjoy!

I did spend some time waving at it and try to control it with the "force"

Sounds like I might pickup a spark too!
