My fly more combo came with bird hooked to RC. How do I switch back to being able to use the phone by itself?

Turn the spark on thru hold the button in the battery down for six seconds until you hear a double beep.  You now can connect directly to the spark.

If I want to switch back to the RC, do I hold down the power button for 6 seconds?
