Hi,

I've made some changes in the configuration files of the RC, and now, the RC doesn't broadcast the SSID, and I can't get access to the RC through wifi. The aircraft or my smartphone cannot get an Ip adress.
Is there a way to reset the settings into factory configuration???Not just change the wifi password. Reset all the settings or update  firmware without using DJI GO app?

here is an instruction of the s2 switch, you can reset it to factory defaults with it ( watch the video to see how exactly)

thanks for your answer but this instruction are to sync RC<->drone or the reset the wifi. I've already tested it and it doesn't work. My probleme is my rc isnt't reachable via the network, no ip adress, the ssid isn't broadcat anymore so the drone can't have an ip adress too and I have no way to discuss with my RC...

Firmware can be downloaded and copy it to the root of the sd card but remember to delete all files on sd card before.and then start the rc and ac without sd card in it when its doing its check then insert the sd card in ac and then it should read the bin file on the card and do the update.when the light on camera is solid green and the ac stop beeping everything it done.you can check the card in a pc there will be a tex file that says either succes or failed.then leave the bin file on the card and use it normal in the ac

Not necessary to delete all files on card ... that's a myth that gets put around.

In fact keeping at least the txt file - gives you a record of what has been updated to the model before and now.

As long as there is sufficient space on the card ... the FW file is 103mb ... but it is advised to have at least double that free space to allow expansion etc. as it works.

OK back to problem that RC is not transmitting a WiFi connection.

First lets get the FW settled ... once that's done we check :

Side of AC for the GREEN LED and that RC has its left LED green .... that means RC and AC are talking to each other .... it is not a WiFi on 2.4 as a domestic 801, its a variation on 2.4 but still classified as WiFi .. that is why you don't see it on meters etc.
The real WiFi is the RC to phone / tablet ... so we need to get that up and running ...

Only ways to get that reset is by the Gimbal wheel and S2 switch. This returns the RC to factory password and setting to connect with your phone....

But lets go back to the Rc to AC link ... that can produce a failed phone to RC linkup if the RC to AC link is not good. So its worth re-doing the Link Button on AC and the Gimbal wheel / S2 routine to ensure correct link.

If there is no joy using any of the resets - then its possible that the RC is faulty...

Testing with another phone / tablet may show this up ... personally if you have iPad / iPhone now - I would find an android and install Go ... try that ... it could be the phone / tablet is the problem.

What changes did you make as there are virtually none that could throw out the WiFi ...

WHY ?????

I'm always interested why people modify working apps etc. I understand if it improves the app - but something like this is 50-50 ...

At least save the original intact and use a copy !!

How you get that back ... I think you need talk to a WiFi specialist !!

It's for professionnal purpose, I need to understand the communication and the command format... I'm gonna fix the problem in opening the RC and loading a new firmware but if a way to fix that without opening the RC would have been interesting....
