Today I changed from an ASUS S8 tablet to an iPad Mini 4.  Both were running DJI GO 4 4.1.3.  

So far:

1. Screen video is much smoother with few cut outs
2. Performance in general is much better
3. Zero crashes so far with both DJI Go 4 and Litchi.
4. Daytime use is easier as the anti-reflective coating on the Mini 4 makes a significant difference.
5. Changing between apps, while the bird has power, is much easier (only done between take offs so far).

I'm thinking of doing the same thing as I find the ZenPad unusable with my P4P.  Thanks for confirming!

I'm now trying to go from P4P+ controller, to the P4P with iPad 9.7 Pro, but the controller wont link properly.

I've got a 9.7" Pro but find it too heavy to use and I can't remember if it even fit in the P4P's controller grip.  It probably will; I just can't remember.  

What issue are you having?  I'll see if I can get mine to connect and run or if I have same issue - if that will help.
