Hi everyone.
I am thnking of changing from 30fps to 60fps. I feel the extra frame per second could help me to correct errors in panning and with slowing stuff down. If you look in the video , there ae some places where ive slowed the footage down and it ends up with this horrible jitter

Does anyone have any experience with this?

Thanks

It is quite normal to get that jitter when you slow the footage down, less frames per second means there is a jump between each frame. Unless you shoot at a much higher frame rate, like 120 fps, you will get that.

If you are using a high end editing application, you can always buy the Twixtor plug-in and it will generate beautiful slo-mo.

Ah okay. I tried using the in-house feature which supposedly fixes unsteady camera movements. It sought of worked better on some shots and some it did absolutely nothing. I'm going to try 60fps to see if it is worth the extra size file anyway
