I was pleasantly surprised with the purchase of this DJI Goggle storage case.I have been trying to find a storage case that offers better bump and knock protection during transportation and storage. This was purchased at a similar price to the DJI offering on EBay. Hope this helps .

How much does that weigh? I am looking for something lighter than my current goggle case which weighs 1lb 11 oz.

That's a bit better than my case.  I am still looking for something closer to a pound that still provides some anti-crush protection (I have been using a helmet bag in backpack so far).

The size and shape makes it difficult to manufacture a lighter case without compromising protection. I'm sure there will be other products released that may be more suited to your requirement.

Hoping to find something like that soon. I'd like to give my goggle at least some crush protection while it's in my backpack.

Just received my case. This isn't as soft as you think. It's actually stiff - perfect for this application/size. Good find!

The only problem with that case - is that your goggles can turn on by itself sometimes (button can touch the case), and when you reach the field there will be no battery left - I had that problem just yesterday (few times I heard that goggles are turning on, and I turned them off, but not this time)

That's a serious problem. I have had the same thing happen when I just throw the goggles in my backpack without a case. There's no way, I'd carry the extra weight if doesn't prevent an inadvertent turn on like this.

I too found out the hard way. My workaround is to click the headband release button,  pull apart slightly to disconnect preventing it from switching off. The alternative is to install an insert that prevents the goggle button from touching the inside of the case.
