Hello,
I've been trying to figure out how to release the 30 meter restriction after adding update v1.11.20 30. I live in a sugar cane field, and the nearest airport is over 20 miles away in any direction. I've also check my sectional chart to see if there has been any airspace changes, and there is no reason I see to be restricted to 30 meters. The drone is useless to me this way.
Im sure there is something I must have missed...any help would be appreciated.
The latest GO update requires a log in while connected to the internet one time.
If you do not do this you will have altitude and distance restrictions. I am only guessing
that is your issue. It sounds all too familiar.

Thanks Fly Dawg. I thought I did that yesterday? However, this morning it was back to the 30m fence. Very frustrating.
We have some bad weather at the moment. When it clears, it give it another try.

Only have to sign in once?
I d/loaded the latest GO App on a tablet I don't use anymore and noticed it made me sign in. I am still using V3.1.8 on my phone to fly, was hesitant to update, thought it was going to make me sign in every time I wanted to fly
When upgrading the latest firmware, it has a limitation of 30 meters' height and 50 meters' distance. Like Fly Dawg mentioned, make sure that you had logged in your DJI account on the app and the limit would be released.
Yes, normally, you only need to sign in once, the account will not log out unless you make so or some other exception like app's reinstalled.
Since you use the former version app, we recommend that you update it.
Note on update . Requires the DJI GO iOS app v3.1.12 or later, or Android v3.1.6 or later, otherwise the flight is restricted to a height of 30 m and distance of 50 m.
