recently, i did the new update firmware on my mavic ,and now its struck in beginner mode. also I'm having camera delay on my ipad which i didn't have before. I readed all the forum with flyer advice in how to fix this problem try it but it has not work..is there a need to unlock the Geo fence?in order to get out of that short distance mode...also in the zone where I'm flying there"s no restriction of NO Zone Flying. I just don"t understand why DJI put out update firmware and not checking it out for problems before putting it out there for the flyers..My saying is, if it not broken why try fixing it.   

It's because you probably didn't authenticate successfully.  Try re-installing.

Problem resolve. reinstall firmware On the mavic and controller and DJI go 4 app on the mini Ipad..If you do this it should resolve any firmware updates. make sure to check all your setting afterward.
