After trying to update dji mavic pro remote control firmware in dji assistant 2, the update failed, now the remote contro says that the firmware version is v00.00.0000 and I can not update or restore it

I am very unhappy with this situation, I received the drone last week, and I was able to use it once, then update it and I could not use it any more

Do a factory reset. And next time DO NOT UPDATE if you have FW.400 on your machine or any version less than .800 otherwise you are screwed dude!

I have had the same. Restarted controller and connected to my phone with DJI GO4 it then refreshed the latest fw to the controller and everything was ok. Dji assistant 2 recognized the rc afterwards.

Wow, i have just had my mavic a couple weeks but after some reading in the forum it seems that the upgrades are a risk.
is it possible to skip the upgrades, or will djiGO4 force you to do them?

my mavic is working fine, i want it as it is, i DONT want to do any upgrade.

You'll get an update prompt on the APP if there is an update available. It won't force you to upgrade it.

Hello everyone,

I got the same issue on my remote controller since i tried to do the last upgrade (V01.04).
The remote is tuck on "CONNECTING_" and couldn't be detected by my Iphone and android phone and the tablet anymore.
I also got inside the DJI assistant 2 software (PC) an current RC firmware at V00.00.0000 and impossible to upgrade again or to reset to default.

Exactly same problem here!

Hey,

Tried to update my RC, but it keeps saying I have the V00.00.0000 current version running on my RC which is very odd.

I tried to update to the latest version, but after 100% downloaded I received an error message saying UPDATE FAILED.



Now I can't connect my RC with the AC. I tried to link it like the DJI video shows it, however didn't work. Please let me know what to do know because I kinda stuck here.  I also tried the C1+C2+REC combo, but nothing happened at all. No beeps...


Please somebody help me, because this is very annoying. Thanks in advance!

The RC is no longer accessible even with special tools (like ADB) and i really do not understand how this issue start.

Sometimes the problem is the dji asist i hade the program bug and i thought it was my drone and at the end it ended up being stupid software bug

I used it on my mac and it COMPLETLY FAILED
then i used windows and eveything worked and after that it worked on my mac too

I am so sorry for the late reply, I was on my holiday, did the retailer help you get it sorted? Please keep me updated. As for the log, I've forwarded it to the engineers for analysis, I'll keep you posted as well.

I have exactly the same problem as described on this thread. In short, after trying to update the dji mavic pro remote control firmware using the DJI GO app, the update failed, and now the RC is stuck in the "CONNECTING..." loop. When I try to upgrade it via the Assistant application on either Mac or Windows, the aplication detects the RC controller but it shows that the firmware version is v00.00.0000 and I can not update or return to factory settings. Any suggestions?
