I'm not sure what all is going on, but when the fan comes on it sounds like it's rubbing against something inside the casing . Is this normal ?

No it is not. Can you post a sample video? Any foreign objects get inside?

Here's a video of the noise ... I just got it yesterday from Best Buy ... The Quad is PERFECT ... Is this gonna a be a "be without my controller for a month scenario with DJI" ?

Mine does the exact same thing, fresh out of the box. Figured it was just a noisy bearing.

Your link does not work. I thought you were talking about the quad, but I don't remember my controller rattling at all.

I'm familiar with current noise DJI Diana. There is definitely something rubbing inside, because moving the controller around amplifies the sound. I'll be happy to post another video if necessary

I've confirmed with our engineers, this is current noise. If you worry about it , I would recommend you send it in for diagnosis. Besides, if you could provide another video, I will not mind to confirm it with our engineers again.
