I'm 95% sure I want to buy the Mavic, been flying P3P's for awhile now,
Two Questions
1. Does the Mavic plug into your smart phone as the P3's do, or is it connected by generating a signal via WiFi from the drone/controller itself that you connect through the WiFi setting on the phone?

Yes its quieter and quicker to get ready to fly I had a P3S very good
but Mavic far better but that's just my thoughts
Thanks All. Mind is made up, Mavic it is.
BTW: I was a crew chief / Weapons Tech on the Phantom F4 C/D & E Models 35 years ago in DaNang Vietnam and Udorn Thailand. Even got to fly backseat in one twice for winning airmen of the quarter (USAF)

I've flown in a Cessna 152, 172 and a Maul. LOL. I even got to take the sticks. Dad owned the Maul until life circumstances forced him to sell it. After the Cessna's the Maul was a rocket.
