Sorry to hijack but I don't have enough "points" to start a new thread and this seemed a little relevant:
I'm one of the lucky ones that has received the DJI Go 4 4.1.4 update on Android. Good to see DJI are making progress - still some way to go to catch up with the iPhone but we're heading the right way!
The tilt of your device (phone in my case) can now control the gimbal but there seems to be a bit of a bug (with the Galaxy S6 at least). Instead of a 1:1 action whereby tilting your phone from vertical (with the screen facing you) to horizontal (screen facing the sky) - 90 degrees - only results in a 45 degree change in the camera angle. If you keep tilting your phone to 180 degrees (you obviously can't see your sceen at this point), the gimbal keeps tracking until your phone display flips. On iPhone, the mapping is 1:1 so if you tilt your phone from vertical to horizontal, the camera goes from looking straight ahead to straight down. |
