Hi all

Is it possible for the mavic to make sounds?

Let's say you're about to make a skiing movie and you're standing to far from the skiers to tell them when to start.

Or let's say, hypothetical, a birch is crashing into your drone even though you're in full control and it just spawns right where you're flying
In that case it might take a while until you locate it hanging 15m up Still all hypothetical that is
In an event like this it would be awesome to make it go beep.

Best,
Nicholas

OK, I'll bite.  If it has no speaker, how does it beep when you turn it on?  Ponder that!!!

(That makes for some really geeky-cool music!)

Oh, duh!  Why didn't I read the OP correctly the first time?  Nicolas, take a look at my avatar.  Notice the little black thingy on my Mavic's butt.  That's a locator device called LOC8TOR.  Here.  It beeps when you want it to, with the added feature of having a locating device (works like the 'hotter/colder' game).  The locator will work when your Mavic's battery has died (provided you have fresh batteries in your locator).

Nicholas, the drone will beep when you use the app feature of Find Your Drone. In case that any emergency may appear, your are recommended to use pause button of RC to avoid further troubles.

Still, in the OPs first use case it would make sense to have a user-controlled beeper on the AC - to give a signal to the subject being filmed.
Another use case is for indoor/closed space flying, where you want the surroundings to be constantly alerted to the drone's presence - much like a beeper on a forklift.
