Please refer to the pic below to place the drone, then calibrate the gimbal, it may be helpful. Y轴倾斜.png

Hi Diana,

I have also experienced this on my P4 wherein the camera is panned a few degrees to the left.

My question is, after calibrating the gimbal the way you showed in the picture, do you have to perform another gimbal calibration in the normal upright position (p4 on its feet)?

Thank you.

Nope, no need to do another gmibal calibration, you can also try to push the gimbal to the right gently for several times when the drone is powered off, then calibrate the gimbal as the way I showed.

This maybe worth a look:-

According to the release note for DJI Go 4, the latest version v4.1.4 introduces "Gimbal yaw tuning" for the P4 series. You could check that out, I suspect it may be firmware dependant as well, I've not seen it yet in my P4 menus.

I do not see the Yaw Tuning on the new app. (ver 4.1.7)

I have the same problem and the "gently turning" thing while the AC is off only works for the existing power up.  It goes back to the left on the next power up.

I am only seeing "Adjust Gimbal Roll" in the app.  I do not see anywhere to adjust the yaw.

Any ideas?

Thanx!

Gimbal yaw tuning was introduced in DJI Go 4 V4.1.5, I could never get it to work on my P4, only thing Gimbal yaw tuning adjusted was the roll. So was broken. Looks like it's been removed in V4.1.7.

gimbal yaw tuning was a mess. by adjusting it your horizon axis would become completely tilted and unlevelable.
