HI I am very new to flying my Phantom 3 standard and was hoping someone could let me know which is the best app for me to fly my drone and is there a good tute for me to learn with.
Any help would be very appreciated  Thanks for takeing the time to read this

Mick, DJI GO is compatible with Phantom 3 Standard and you are recommended to download it from here: http://www.dji.com/phantom-3-standard/info#downloads

Also, there are tutorial videos for beginners in the app, you can check and have a try.

May i suggest Kityhawk.io. Uses the DJI Go app linked in with drone logging, weather forecast and airspace advisory too. All are linked ito one suite which works together.

Is it on the app store

There is only one app you should be looking at to fly your drone and that's the DJI Go app.
It's a very good app, probably does everything you'll ever want to do and you have to use it to activate your Phantom.
There are other apps available that have specialised additional features but until you know that you want or need those features, stick with Go.

It has a built in simulator for training but really the Phantom is very easy to fly, much easier than you imagine.
