Here in Latvia about a month ago was a huge fire. It probably was a act of some sort of criminals, because it was illegal plastic that was burned down.

In Latvia news stations have no money
But they got the footage anyways.

There was no noticeable updraft as I remembered.. But maybe thats because of the way I fly.

It was filmed in 4K 25 fps pal
and two shots that where filmed at 1080p 96 fps

I use D - cinelike and I had a nd16 on

So my shutter was not to high about 100 and 200

I edit my videos in premiere and I did some color correction.

Here in the Netherlands it's not allowed to fly near anything like this, because of police and firefighter choppers.

U was there way before any of those things! When I was home, only 2h latter helicopter arrived. So I had no such a situation where I should be afraid of something.
Although there was this guy, who did fly over it when it was there, and he got in big trouble.
Lucky for me, I was there quite quickly and did my video shoot quickly!

No, it wasn't fog that inspired Deep Purple to write Smoke on the Water, but the fire that destroyed the Casino in Montreux, Switzerland, on 4th of December 1971 with the smoke of the fire blowing over Lake Geneva.

Really stupid to fly through the toxic smoke. Now your Mavic is covered in it and it got sucked into the electronics.

I'm not quite sure. There was something and it burned down. It definitely was plastic. And that stuff was definitely there illegally.

What I read in the news - they said, that the trash had to be removed from there, because it shouldn't be there. And then they burned it down instead.
