Okay, my EU fellow Spark pilots, I'm headed to Europe for two months and after reading the forum posts on 5.8 and 2.4 I'm confused.  If I only want to fly a max distance of around 200 meters and max height of 100 meters will the default settings work (5.8)???  Or what should I do starting out each flight???

There is one solution to have FCC in Europe. If you power on a SPARK (in EU) on screen will show you a information about wrong region for WLAN settings. Please choice a CANCEL (not OK). CANCEL - Spark will stay in FCC (your last region), OK - Spark will reset and change a power to EU.

It all depends where you will be flying. I'm loosing video feed roughly at alt 80m on 5.8GHz. In some places I can plrobably get more range. The safest bet would be to take otg cable with you and switch to 2.4 while flying in EU.
