Going to try video solar eclipse in few days. Is there a filter I can use ?

You trying to photo the Sun itself? Unless you are on the West coast the Sun is too high up to capture, and you will need at least ND 500 and up filter without whiting out your camera's sensor. Not flying my Spark during the eclipse, but I will bring it with me just in case something interesting happens.  

Yeah, I thought about that too.  You would have to have the motors powered off and lean it against something to point it high enough.

Or maybe modify the props so you could put them on upside down and fly the Phantom with its belly pointing up.  Now THAT would be something.   Hmmmmm....

You might try filming the eclipse by reflection in a pond/lake; that might be cool...
