I just upgraded from Phantom 3 to Mavic.  The Tripod mode looks to be a real aid when trying to get gentle movements in my videos.  But, I worry about the Mavic's ability to respond to wind when in that mode with the slower and more limited response to the remote's movement commands.  For those with experience with the tripod feature, can you comment on  dealing with the wind while in tripod?

Only the speed will be limited to 2.2 mph, and the responsiveness to the stick will be reduced, the reflection of the wind might not be impacted, the app will prompt you when there is a strong wind. But if the speed of the wind is above 10 m/s, we do not recommend flying it.

Just hit the PAUSE button and you are out of the mode, any mode to be precise!

Fortunately, it is a button we do not have to use many times, but it is worth to always remember it.

I think one of the best features to be added !

Tripod mode does not effect the normal wind stability.

Used it a couple of times and really like the smoothness when in use.
