Hello, i am new to this and was looking for some help, i have done some searches but can't seem to find anything.

I was out this morning trying out the 5 bracket AEB which was in auto mode (i do prefer to shoot manual). The histogram looked even and so I took 5 shots with AEB. I have selected them and merged them in lightroom but the picture has come out incredibly dark with quite a lot of clipping in the sky. I took a series of shots and the light was very good.

Is there something I am doing wrong? The sun was out so I probably could have got away with not using AEB but I am trying to learn how to use the camera for an upcoming trip?
