Long shot but maybe someone here can help. There isn't a whole lot of info out there, but it seems like a fairly safe bet to say at this point that any drones will be confiscated at the Danang airport.

The exception being for people with permits, which several people have mentioned, but absolutely noone has any suggestion of how to get one. Have emailed the Vietnam Aviation Authority with no results.

I don't even need/want to fly in Danang, as I've heard there are lots of low flying aircraft, but would love to be able to bring my drone for the rest of the trip.
