I start by saying that DJI GO 4 4.1.5 for Android is horrible.
They continued to release authorization phrases in class D on screen ... impossible to watch ... I confirmed and after 2 seconds they reappeared.

Signal lost Height 60mt distance 40mt ... rc led red ... Spark arrives above me, descends stops at 4 meters high ..
Then he moves forward toward a tree stops between the trunk and a branch, collides with the branch, nothing serious (fortunately).
It starts with landing alone ...

I take in my hands ... control nothing broken ...

But WTF?

After 7.30 hours flight, over 70 flights? I tried again after ... and made me the joke of the disconnection another time, I picked up the signal  ONLY above me.

Always H60 D40-50metri ..

Both on IPHONE and Samsung Galaxy S6.

How to connect to assistant 2 the remote I can't don't work....

This app sucks because is buffering video cache alltime. It always sucked, but in P3P i had a possibility to turn cache off then app worked stable.
For a Spark the turn cache off button was disabled.

I've also had disconnections a few times within 300meters,but not sure if it was due to me being near a neighborhood with many wifi connections...

ok i re-install FW RC

well all fw are update and reinstall

if problem persist.. It could be the fault of the new antennas.

So far, the Spark remote controller can't connect to the DJI Assistant 2. You may need to upgrade it via APP.

Could you please try to reinstall the APP, then run the APP when your phone is in the airplane mode?
If it is the same, please provide the details below for further analysis.
1. Operations before and when the Android device crashes
2. Aircraft model
3. Mobile device model
4. Android version number
5. DJI GO app’s version number (shown under Settings of Me in the app)

Is the problem resolved? You can also try to adjust the antennas during the flight. Besides, please try to fly it in different open areas, see if the problem persist.

I have always flew up to 1.4km in this area. IPhone IOS 11 beta 6 - Samsung Galaxy s6 Android 7.0 today I try to fly in that area .. with all reset ... I have already ordered a new controller .. (110euro)

I have exact same issues, sorry to flood the boards here but i really need this problem sorted.
Samsung S8, no bluetooth on, flight mode enabled, great wifi signal no interferance, tried on Iphone6 same problems, can't use OTG cable and can't fly more than 100m in ANY area without weak image transmission and constant cut outs..... Reaaaally don't want to send it back for analysis but it's not looking like there is going to be any other resolve any time soon.

Where do you find the controller for 110 euros? I will live in portugal next month but just find for 170+ euros.

What a did, sized down cache to 1gb and let it run out...
So now i have a message can't record because no cache memory, and all is good!...
The APP just works... I'm on android...
