Yesterday during my flight I noticed that the battery level had to be off. I hit RTH and then AutoLand. During the descent, it issued it's first low battery warning. It then started to spin and fell straight down with a sickening smack on my drive way.

Your AirData link doesn't work, but I'd much rather see the DAT file from the flight (or at least the TXT uploaded to PhantomHelp) anyway. Retrieve the DAT file from the Mavic using these instructions, then upload it to DropBox and provide a link to it in this thread if you'd like an analysis of what happened. The correct file will have a timestamp that corresponds to when the flight occurred and will be at least tens of megabytes in size.

I tried that, but it's showing "No Flight Logs"

All Files

Trying to see what works. If this link works, it is all the files I can pull together. I can't seem to get any info from the Drone itself as it must be too badly damaged.

The PhantomHelp link you provided doesn't work, but here's a link to the uploaded log and basically what it shows is battery data that's very clearly incorrect. For example, even after being in the air for almost 7 minutes your battery claimed to still be 100% charged. It does start decreasing a bit after that, but then at around 11:40 into the flight it goes from supposedly being at 70% of capacity down to 8% within about 12 seconds, and right after that is when it ultimately crashed.

Other than some kind of accidental damage (e.g., being dropped) the only thing I can think of is that this was a defective battery, and I think you should pursue it with DJI as a warranty claim.

It looks like one of the cells in the battery started to fail and really dropped off around 10 minutes into the flight. Not sure how old your batteries are but it does look like battery failure.

Everything is only two months old. I have used AirData to check my battery condition on all three batteries and I hadn't noticed anything. You raise a good point. I will compare this battery to the other two on my past flights and see if anything stands out. I'm glad I returned home when I noticed the battery level couldn't possibly be right. I looked down and it was 90% well into the flight. I don't know if the drone wasn't reading the battery level correctly, or the battery was so jacked it was giving false information. Either way the battery level was wrong the whole flight, and then just died. I should have had more than 12 minutes of flight.

Hey fanse0b01137 was it a brand new battery pack that was used.  How were you charging your batteries?  It just seems odd that a new battery pack that is 2 months old failing with a bad cell.

Also look at the battery temp  - over 140.  May be a temperature shutdown.

... when you fly a few minutes, battery percentage should drop not stay on 100%... does the Mavic measure voltage or does it rely on what the battery tell the Mavic!?

This isn't a matter of a single bad cell. If you look at the log data, all three cells show exactly the same voltage until the very end of the flight, which is in itself suspicious.

Below is the usage of the battery in question. It was the battery that I purchased with the Mavic and not one of the ones that I bought later. Thanks
