Spark video gesture and Dronie not working as expected

Dronie is the only Quickshot that will not work correctly either. Made sure the Home Point was set to the same place that the Dronie was to start the shot and still no progress. Set distance to 40M and anywhere in between but the progress percentage stays at 0% under the record button on DJI Go 4. All other Quickshots count up in percentage from 0% to 100% while filming.


Dronie of course just flys the Spark in reverse at the same height and doesn't increase altitude as advertised.

Yup. Did a post on this not long ago, DJI just keep asking for logs and still no fix for it. Getting more disappointed as I bought it for the features it's shown to have and some of them never worked for me or many others. I really hope they fix it in the next FW update.

One of the DJI admins said today on one of the forum posts that a patch is coming very soon to fix this issue.  It was an update that she had received an email from the Tech Team to say so.

For the video gesture, mainly depends on the gesture of the upper arm, I marked a red circle the pic below. Please try it again and make sure the gesture is correct. For the dronie mode, we are aware of this issue, our engineers are working on it, it will be optimized in the next firmware, please pay close attention to the update. 1.png

Yeah, this is key. Make sure you start the Video gesture before you wave the Spark away (when it's close by). Otherwise, it will not work.
