Can Anyone that has recieved there P3 confirm or ??? That a P2 case will work for it? JUst waiting on my P3 to ship and wanted to get some sort of case for it to travel with. Any help would be greatly appricated. Thx all!!

It will have to be modified to fit. The quad itself will fit without problem, but the landing gear cutout needs to be modified. The landing gear on the Phantom 3 are longer and more spread out. To make a Phantom 2 case work you will need to cut the foam a little deeper and shave off some foam on the sides. The props are the same size and the batteries are just a hair smaller, so they will still fit in the battery holes of the Phantom 2 case even if just a touch loose.

I actually didn't have any issues, however like Cact said maybe just cut some foam core out and you'll be fine

I found a Pelican 1620 case on Craisglist for $60 and ordered a replacement pick-n-pluck foam set for it through Amazon for $72

i have this one arriving tomorrow, and yes i expect i'll have to shave a bit to get the fit right, but it was $90 shipped and i wanted a small backpack with hard top. seems to fit the bill, will update with how it goes

I had one of those $49 soft backpacks for my P2V+ and let it go with it when I sold it.  I immediately ordered another of the same backpack off ebay and have received it - I am waiting with my filet knife at the ready - my P3A arrives next week.

Am leaning more towards a backpack for my P3, I don’t need an expensive  case with wheels.  I’ve seen lots on Ebay, all from China which from experience doubt the description is what you get. If anyone knows of  where I can get one in the USA that's not super expensive < $200 please let me know. Thanks!
